This installation "Through Fragments" was recreated specially for the exposition by projecting images on old metal cabinets used in a laboratory where my father used to work. It shows the flexibility of material and form depending on the place and city where the artwork is installed.

This is a video installation that contrasts with my previous work, "Through Faces." I took photos of statues at the Musée d'Orsay before I learned of my mother's illness. The museum was crowded with visitors, but perhaps because of the constant flow of people or the striking beauty and realism of the statues, I felt a sense of vitality and movement. I was surprised to feel something completely different from what I had experienced when viewing statues at the Jacques Cœur Palace.
