This work begins with an attempt to understand nature not as a fixed landscape or object, but as something that is constantly changing and taking shape through relationships.

Today, we often encounter nature through photographs, books, and social media before experiencing it directly. Although these images are shaped by particular perspectives and acts of selection, their constant circulation gradually forms familiar ideas of what nature is. Yet nature is not a complete or fixed landscape, but a relational process in which different beings, times, and environments continually affect one another.

To explore this, I collected images of landscape from used books, cut them apart, and reassembled them into collages. Familiar landscapes are fragmented and reorganized into new relationships, gently unsettling established ways of seeing nature. The installation extends this process into space. The collaged images are broken down into pixels and transformed into light and movement, reappearing as projections throughout the installation.

Instead of defining what nature is, this work asks us to reconsider how we have come to see and understand it.
